The Dental Lounge at Robina is owned by Ekera Dental, run with professionalism and passion. We are committed to providing an exceptional level of service; our loyal patients are provided with the most comfortable dental treatment possible. We are a fully equipped dental practice with all new, state-of-the-art facilities. Dr Kate Smith has 20 plus years of experience, she is ready to assist her patients to take control of their own dental health by offering a wide variety of dental services. We believe that the vast majority of dental problems are preventable, and we enjoy helping our patients achieve a new level of oral health. We genuinely look forward to meeting you.

Dr Kate Smith – Dentist
All her efforts, from the day she opened the practice until today, have been driven by two main desires. 1. People should be able to smile without feeling embarrassed. 2. The Dental Lounge @ Robina should be a lovely place where nervous patients feel safe. Those two things have helped shape the team she has built, the dental services they provide and the environment they work in.
Dr Smith gained her degree from the University of Queensland in 2000 with honours, and has since practiced in private practices in Queensland and NSW. She also spent a period of time in South East Asia performing much needed volunteer dental work in remote villages where she met her husband. Today her experience is broad and covers most aspects of dentistry.
Dr Smith has also incorporated Invisalign technologies to her extensive knowledge base. Dr Smith frequently attends advanced dental courses keeping up to date with the latest technologies and techniques.
When away from the practice, she loves spends time with her young family and her beautiful horses. She can often be found on the weekends at various equestrian events, showing her horses and competing, a passion she has had since childhood.
Dr Senthil Subramanian
After practising dentistry in India, Scotland, New Zealand and Australia, Dr Senthil Subramanian has come to our dental clinic. He’s passionate about working hard to create healthy and beautiful smiles for his patients.
His substantial experience in orthodontics, dental implants, and restorative dentistry makes it easy for him to achieve positive patient outcomes.
Graduating from the Madras Dental College in India in 1998, he completed three years of extra orthodontic training at the same location. In 2008, he completed the TC White Training Fellowship through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He is now a member of the College, following this first-rate training, and he regularly attends lectures and professional development opportunities. Continually improving his knowledge helps him to provide quality dental treatment for his patients.
His initial eight years of dental experience surrounded hospital dentistry and part-time orthodontic work. Following his extra training in Scotland, he’s undertaken five years of general dental experience in New Zealand, and eight years in Australia.
Away from the dental chair, Dr Senthil enjoys working out at the gym, exploring new computer applications and treating his wife, son and daughter to the wonders of South Indian cooking.
Dr Parmesh Kaur
Dr Parmesh Kaur is a skilled and compassionate dentist who graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2013. With over a decade of clinical experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a gentle approach to patient care.
Since joining The Dental Lounge in 2024, Dr Parmesh has become a valued member of the team, known for her dedication to high-quality, patient-focused dentistry. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and is passionate about creating positive dental experiences in a calm and caring environment.
Committed to ongoing professional development, Dr Parmesh stays up to date with the latest advancements in dental techniques and technologies, ensuring her patients receive the best possible care.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, travel, pilates and spending time with family.
Nicoletta Marina – Oral Health Therapist
Nicoletta Marina has been in the dental industry since 2018. At The Dental Lounge Robina, she does check-ups, cleans and fillings for patients of all ages. She also does clear aligner consultations to see if aligners are the right fit for you!
As a multi-skilled Oral Health Therapist, she has always worked in both general dental and orthodontic clinics, making her highly competent in both clear aligners and braces. While she enjoys all aspects of dental care, her favorite procedure is Invisalign—helping patients achieve a beautiful smile and seeing the confidence that comes with it!
Outside of the clinic, Nicoletta is all about an active lifestyle.
You’ll find her at the gym at 5am every day and either at the beach or nice restaurants on her weekend. Her warm and friendly nature ensures every patient feels comfortable and well cared for during their visit.
