If you are new to our clinic, you will first receive a comprehensive exam to give you a complete picture of the condition of your oral health and then, together, we can tailor a solution to suit you.
We can also give you a variety of treatment options. Our comprehensive exams do take longer than you may have been used to before, but we believe that this is one of your most important visits with us.
During this appointment we will generally take photos of your mouth, take digital x-rays, assess the health of your soft tissues (Including oral cancer screening), assess the health of your teeth and any existing dental restorations, assess your bite and jaw joint, and our hygienist will also do a thorough check of the conditions of your gums and bone levels.
At the end of your visit, we aim to give you a complete explanation of the state of your mouth, and if any treatment is required, we will spend time discussing options with you.
